Join the Elakha Alliance at 7 Devils Brewery & Public House in Coos Bay for a Sea Otter Sip & Paint Night Fundraiser in honor of Sea Otter Awareness Week! Your ticket serves as a direct donation to the Elakha Alliance, a nonprofit dedicated to restoring Oregon’s sea otter population. Reservations are required, and participants of all ages are welcome.
No painting experience? No problem! Local coastal artist Megan Gray will guide you step-by-step through creating a beautiful scene of a sea otter diving down for a sea urchin amongst the kelp (pictured above). All skill levels can join in the fun – just bring your creativity and enthusiasm!
About the artist: Megan’s adoration for nature is rooted deep in her home stomping grounds of Coos Bay, OR. Residing on the rugged Southern Oregon Coast, provides a steady source of adventure and inspiration. As an enthusiast of outdoor escapes, she is an attentive meanderer. Observing the interconnectedness of the natural world is at the core of her creative spirit, and her artwork is a reflection of her time spent immersed in nature’s narrative. The ticket price includes:
- All paint supplies
- Instruction
- Aprons
- An 9×12 take-home canvas
- One complimentary beverage ticket for beer/wine (for those 21+), or soda
Cancellations 72 hours before event will be offered a refund. Cancellations after 72 hours will have their ticket payment remain as a donation to the Elakha Alliance.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Beverages and food will be available for purchase. Alcohol consumption is permitted only for adults over 21.
