You can suppport the Elakha Alliance’s mission by staying at participating Oregon businesses through Kind Traveler's Every Stay Gives Back, and Every Adventure Gives Back programs.

We’re excited to partner with Kind Traveler’s Every Stay Gives Back and Every Adventure Gives Back program in collaboration with the Oregon Coast Visitors Association (OCVA). This initiative turns your coastal getaway into a force for good by allowing a portion of your stay at participating hotels, or outdoor adventure business, to support local nonprofits, including the Elakha Alliance.

At the Elakha Alliance, we’re dedicated to restoring Oregon’s sea otter population and protecting the coastal ecosystem by blending traditional ecological knowledge with modern science. Your participation in this program helps us raise awareness and educate the public about our mission, fostering support for a thriving marine environment that benefits people, wildlife, and the planet.

There are currently three businesses that are benefiting the Elakha Alliance through Kind Traveler:

  1. The Wildflower Inn – Gold Beach (Hotel) – $1/per night
  2. Crook Point – Pistol River (Hotel) – $2/per night
  3. Shifting Tides NW (Adventure) – $1/per ticket
