The High Desert Museum has invited the Elakha Alliance to present at its Natural History Pub on October 5 in Bend, Oregon.
Join Chanel Hason, Director of Outreach and Community Relations for the Elakha Alliance, to discover why sea otters have been absent from Oregon’s coast for more than a century – and what it will take to bring them back. Learn how science, conservation, Indigenous leadership, and community collaboration are helping restore this iconic keystone species to its historic home and build a more resilient coastal ecosystem.
Presentation: 7:00–8:00 p.m.
Doors open: 5:30 p.m.
Location: McMenamins Old St Francis School (700 NW Bond Street, Bend)
