Join us for a special ocean conservation art night directly benefiting local coastal non-profit organizations, Elakha Alliance and Cape Perpetua Collaborative, and hosted at the brand new Pelican Brewery location in Yachats.
The Linocut & Printing Workshop will take place from 6pm-8pm at Pelican Brewing in Yachats, OR (580 US-101, Yachats, OR 97498). Participants will learn in 2 hours how to make their own ocean-themed linocut block print, and will then be able to print them on a recycled canvas tote bag and whatever other items you’d like to share your art design on.
Your $65 ticket price includes:
- Instruction from local coastal artist, Cheryl Horton
- All the tools and supplies to carve your block
- Ink in 3 colors: black, green, blue
- A recycled canvas bag, where you can print your new designs upon!
There will also be a Drop-In Printing option for those not wanting to participate in the Linocut Workshop. Stop by and make print from our carved blocks. Bring your own item to print on (shirt, tote, patch, pillowcase, whatever) and give what you can. Don’t have anything on hand? Recycled canvas totes are available for $15 each.
