Amy Hash from the Oregon Zoo joins Elakha Alliance Board

We are thrilled to welcome Amy Hash to the Elakha Alliance Board of Directors! Amy brings a wealth of experience in sea otter biology and community engagement, along with a deep passion for Oregon’s coastal ecosystems. Her dedication to conservation and her collaborative spirit make her a wonderful addition to our growing team. We look forward to the insight and energy she’ll bring as we continue working together to restore a thriving population of sea otters to the Oregon coast.

Amy is the Supervisor of the Marine Life department at the Oregon Zoo. With 30 years of experience at the zoo, she has held various roles, spending most of her career as an animal keeper dedicated to the care and wellbeing of sea otters. She holds a degree in zoology from Oregon State University and brings a lifelong passion for animal care and conservation to her work.
