2024 Festival Presented by: Elakha Alliance, Oregon Zoo, DLX Family Foundation
The Elakha Alliance threw their biggest otter-ly amazing fundraiser of the year on April 13, 2024 – all in aid of bringing our adorable flippered friends back to Oregon! The 2024 event raised over $30,000 towards ocean conservation and the return of sea otters back to the Oregon coast!
The Elakha Alliance is a non-profit created by tribal and conservation leaders working to restore Oregon’s sea otter population, and in the process, create a more robust and resilient marine ecosystem. In addition to enjoying flavorful craft beers, this fundraising event contributes to building community awareness regarding the significance of revitalizing our valuable nearshore marine ecosystems. This is achieved through informative talks held throughout the evening and an engaging Elakha trivia contest.
Nine local Oregon breweries have embraced the Elakha’s beer challenge, taking on the task of crafting a ‘sea otter-themed’ beer utilizing Maris Otter Malt. Each brewery is dedicated to contributing a portion of their otter beer sales to our cause! Indulge in the experience by sipping, sampling, and casting your vote for your favorite otter-inspired brew, while a panel of fantastic judges will determine the ultimate otter-beer titles. This year, attendees enjoyed a specialty otter-themed cocktail sample from Straightaway Cocktails as a delightful bonus pour. Throughout the entire evening, guests relished in delicious gourmet pizzas, appetizers, and desserts. Wild Hogs in the Woods band serenaded us with toe-tapping tunes all evening long. And for an added thrill, participants flocked to the Door Prize Raffle, Premium Raffle, and Elakha Trivia Raffle for a chance to win local artwork, gift packages, and outdoor adventures from PNW businesses!

Ensure you seize the chance to participate in our exceptional Door Prize Raffle, Premium Raffle, and Elakha Trivia Raffle during the Oregon Otter Beer Festival! Gratitude to the generous local businesses and artists for their donations, contributing to the success of these raffles. All proceeds will go towards supporting the Elakha Alliance and their efforts to reintroduce sea otters to Oregon’s rocky reefs.
The Raffles will close at 8:45pm and winners will be announced onstage at 9pm – you must be present to win.
