For Sea Otter Awareness Week, the Elakha Alliance will have designated Sea Otter Viewing Stations on the coast in Newport, and inland in Portland. Come stop by the Elakha Alliance table and learn more about sea otter reintroduction efforts in Oregon.
Oregon Sea Otter Viewing Stations:
– Sunday September 20th, 10am-2pm: Oregon Zoo, Portland
– Saturday September 26th, 10am-4pm: Oregon Coast Aquarium, Newport
Stop by our table right next to the sea otter exhibit from 10am-2pm and meet with one of our Elakha representatives to learn the history of sea otters in Oregon, and why it’s critical for them to return to their native waters. You can also learn how the Oregon Zoo is supporting our efforts as a Conservation Partner.
