DESCRIPTION:Join the Elakha Alliance\, the Confederated Tribes of Siletz Indians and the Newport Chapter of Surfrider Foundation at Beverly Beach State Park for an evening exploring the history\, culture\, and ecology of this special stretch of the Oregon coast. \nAs part of Surfrider’s ongoing efforts to better engage the public in protecting Beverly Beach\, the event will feature stories and perspectives from tribal history to build a broader\, more inclusive sense of place to this stretch of coastline. \nWith Otter Rock just off the beach here\, it’s a fitting opportunity for the Elakha Alliance to join the discussion to talk about their partnered efforts to restore culturally and ecologically important wildlife along the coast.
